Strong end to the season at the Central German Indoor Championships

At the end of January, we traveled to the indoor athletics arena in Halle (Saale) to bring the packed 2026 indoor season to a fitting close. After successfully qualifying in their respective disciplines, our athletes started highly motivated – and delivered exciting races and strong performances.

Lucas and Franz represented O-SEE Sports in the 800 meters . Lucas finished in a respectable 10th place with a time of 2:07 minutes , closely followed by Franz, who took 12th place with a time of 2:08 minutes . Lucas also took on a special challenge: After a short break, he attempted a double start and also competed in the 400 meters . With a time of 54.07 seconds, he achieved a strong 8th place – well done!

The 800-meter race was particularly successful for Sophia. With a time of 2:19 minutes, she secured an excellent bronze medal. And as we now know – although it hasn't been reported here yet – she's expected to run even faster over the four indoor laps this season.

A real highlight from a team perspective was the U18 4x200-meter relay team from O-SEE Sports. With Sophia, Sophia, Annabell, and Lina , our "big girls" delivered an impressive team performance. With fast legs and perfect coordination, they completed 1:50.38 minutes and rewarded themselves with another glittering medal.

A huge thank you goes to all the supporters who accompanied our team on and off the track. Together, we proudly look back on a successful end to the 2026 indoor season.
