The longest and toughest kilometers in the Zittau Mountains
Passion, perseverance, versatility
The XTERRA O-SEE Ultra Trail is the ultimate challenge and a top-class nature experience in Germany's smallest low mountain range. Nestled in the border region of three countries, Poland, and the Czech Republic, the Zittau Mountains Nature Park offers a variety of challenging trails with a magnificent backdrop. Breathtaking views and an unforgettable running adventure are guaranteed.
The start and finish are located in the heart of the picturesque spa town of Oybin, framed by the silhouette of the eponymous mountain with its castle and monastery ruins and the striking, rugged sandstone cliffs. Perhaps the most famous of these, not high but nonetheless challenging to climb, is the Kelchstein (Chalice Stone), which also adorns the event medals.
The XTERRA O-SEE Ultra Trail will host the XTERRA European Trail Run Championship 2026 over the half marathon (XTERRA O-SEE 25k Single) and marathon distances (XTERRA O-SEE 50k Single).
