A strong weekend for O-SEE Sports

Three athletes from O-SEE Sports e.V. participated in this year's XTERRA Greece in Vouliagmeni. They arrived on Wednesday, April 22nd, allowing ample time to familiarize themselves with the course, explore the grounds, and prepare for the competition

Ideal conditions on race day

The competition took place on Saturday, April 25th. The sun was shining, the temperature was a pleasant 23 degrees Celsius, and the sea was calm. These were almost perfect conditions for an XTERRA race. Nevertheless, the course demanded a lot from the athletes. The open-sea swim, the technical mountain bike sections, and the challenging run along the coast required full concentration and excellent race strategy.

Strong performances in the O-SEE team

Jens Lindner put in a very solid performance. With great stamina and a smart rhythm, he achieved a strong fifth place in the XTERRA standings. The course was demanding, but Jens remained focused until the end and consistently fought his way forward.

For Arthur Soukup, it was his first time competing in a sprint distance race. He seized the opportunity and made a clear statement. With a commanding performance, he secured first place, celebrating a successful start to the season.

Sophie Lindner was unable to compete due to health reasons. However, she was present and supported the team throughout the weekend. Her presence noticeably contributed to the positive atmosphere and team spirit.

A weekend to remember

Participating in XTERRA Greece 2026 was a special experience for O-SEE Sports. The sporting achievements, the strong team spirit, and the impressive setting of Vouliagmeni made this weekend a successful start to the new season. The impressions and experiences will surely continue to stay with and motivate the team.
