O-SEE Sports at the German Championships in Lübeck

June 14, 2026, was one of the highlights of Tim's season. At the German Youth B Championships in Lübeck , he faced a strong field of competitors and delivered a spirited performance that provided valuable experience for the coming years.

Strong starting position thanks to convincing season performances

Due to his excellent results at the DTU Cup in Halle and Forst, Tim was placed in the starting group of the top 10. The swim was done in wetsuits, and the start was directly in the water in cool temperatures. After a solid swim, Tim reached the exit after 6:40 minutes, placing 40th among the athletes. The exit was narrow and slippery, posing an additional challenge for many participants.

A difficult first transition

The first transition, despite a fast time of 1:18 minutes, didn't go perfectly. As he left the transition area, the rubber on his shoe strap tore, causing one shoe to detach from the pedal. Tim had to run back a few meters, lost contact with his cycling group, and finished the cycling leg after 16:53 minutes.

Strong running performance to finish

The second transition went much better. On the running course, Tim showed his full strength, completing the 2.5 kilometers in 8:41 minutes – the fifth fastest run time of the entire field. After 34:45 minutes, he crossed the finish line, securing a strong 22nd place at the German Youth B Championships.

Conclusion

The German Championships in Lübeck were a competition with some setbacks, but above all, a race that provided Tim with valuable experience on the national stage. His strong performance and fighting spirit demonstrate his potential. O-SEE Sports is proud of this achievement and the determination shown to give his all, even under difficult conditions.
