Heat battle at XTERRA Slovakia – strong performances for O-SEE Sports eV.

At the XTERRA in Banská Štiavnica, our team faced a real battle against the heat. Extreme temperatures and challenging courses demanded everything from all the athletes.

Jens Lindner competed in the full distance race for O-SEE Sports eV , as did the two youngsters Arthur Soukup and Sophie Lindner in the sprint distance race – with strong results!

Arthur had an excellent start to the swim, fighting his way to 4th place in his age group and 7th overall. While the mountain bike leg didn't go quite as planned, it was still a strong race.

Jens also finished 4th in his age group and 22nd overall. Particularly frustrating: he missed the podium by just 10 seconds. Nevertheless, an impressive performance under these conditions!

Sophie provided the highlight: With a strong comeback on her mountain bike, she secured victory in her age group – 1st place!

A huge thank you also goes to the XTERRA team: The organization was outstanding, all the volunteers were incredibly friendly, and they spontaneously responded to the extreme heat by setting up an additional refreshment station along the course. A fantastic and crucial decision!

Congratulations to our three starters – strong performances in conditions that demanded everything from everyone!
