O-SEE Kids impress at the XTERRA O-SEE Challenge
Under radiant weather and in front of a home backdrop at Lake Olbersdorf, the young athletes of O-SEE Sports took part in the XTERRA O-SEE Challenge 2026 – and delivered: Numerous podium places and four Saxon championship titles made the home competition a real success for the club.
In the C-level youth category, Timo, Albert, and Anouk put on strong performances: Timo secured the victory, Anouk finished second among the girls, and Albert completed the trio with an excellent sixth place. Evelin, Josefine, and Paul also impressed, finishing eighth, ninth, and sixteenth respectively.
The competition was particularly successful for the B-level students: Theresa won her age group convincingly, and Gabriela came in second. Luise, Lisbeth, and Karla rounded out the strong team result with fourth, sixth, and twelfth place finishes, respectively. Among the boys, Yannik, Leo, and Malte also delivered solid performances, finishing fourth, sixth, and twelfth.
In the Schüler A age group, Mayla, Lydia, and Lotte fought their way to ninth, thirteenth, and fifteenth place respectively after a strong race. Among the boys, Theo secured a podium finish, while Erich narrowly missed the top ten, finishing eleventh.
Tim also impressed: Despite a somewhat unfortunate race, he fought his way to a strong second place in the Youth B age group.
In the Youth A category, Sophie and Arthur showed their fighting spirit. Sophie had to settle for fourth place after a fall on the cycling course, while Arthur finished fifth against strong competition from TV Dresden.
The icing on the cake of the day: Several O-SEE Kids secured titles in the Saxony Championship standings. Timo, Tim, Theo, Theresa, and Yannik became Saxony Champions in their respective age groups. Further podium finishes at the state level went to Anouk, Gabriela, Albert, Leo, and Erich.
A thoroughly successful home race for O‑SEE Sports – with strong performances in all age groups, numerous podium finishes and five Saxon championship titles on top of that.
Congratulations to all O-SEE Kids – a fantastic overall result that you can be really proud of!
