Race Briefing

Time limit / Exit & Cut-off

Time limit / Exit & Cut-off

Switch

Participants in the O-SEE 100k and O-SEE 75k races can switch to the next shorter distance during the competition. This switch is timed and scored but is not officially counted (no ranking or DUV ranking!). The race office must be informed of this switch by phone or, at the latest, by notifying the marshal at the switch point. O-SEE 100k participants who reach the cut-off point “K85 Brandsteinweg/Wiesenweg” after 8:45 p.m. must run directly towards the finish line (switch).

Switch Points:

  • O-SEA 100k ➘ 75k: Mařenice/Antonínovo údolí (50.807339 N, 14.666308 E) = K50
  • O-SEE 100k ➘ 75k: Brandsteinweg/Wiesenweg (50.831850 N, 14.741903 E) = K85 ... (Total distance 86 kilometers)
  • E-SEE 75k ➘ 50k: Hochwald/Pod Hvozdem (50.822337 N, 14.722908 E) = K45

Exit

In the event of a race cancellation at an aid station, the race number (and GPS tracker) must be handed in. In the case of a "wild" withdrawal from the race on the course, the race office must be informed immediately by telephone. A contact telephone number is printed on the race number. Failure to do so may result in the participant being billed for any search and rescue costs incurred.

In case of cancellation, there is no entitlement to return transport, even if every effort is made to ensure this.

In an acute health emergency, please call the emergency number 112 immediately.

Starting position change with O-SEE Flex / route change / starting position transfer

Registration is binding. We ask for your understanding that, due to the significant logistical and organizational effort involved in this event, we are unable to refund any entry fees.

Starting position change for Trail Runs (O-SEE Flex)

Injury or wedding – with O-SEE Flex you're on the safe side: O-SEE Flex offers the option to postpone your starting place to the following year free of charge and without giving a reason, up until the official registration deadline. This option can only be booked with online registration. The fee is a flat rate of €20.00 per participant in addition to the entry fee.

The transfer of the starting place to the following year will be effected by issuing a voucher equal to the paid entry fee. A prerequisite for receiving the voucher code is successful cancellation via the link in the registration confirmation.

Without O-SEE Flex, changing the starting position is not possible!

Route change / Starting position transfer

Changing your registration to a different distance is possible until the official registration deadline. If you choose a longer distance, you will need to pay the difference in the current entry fee; if you choose a shorter distance, no refund will be given.

The transfer of the starting right (start number) to another person within the registered distance is also possible.

The change of route or participant must be communicated independently to Baer-Service GmbH, the service provider for the online registration:

Email: info@baer-service.de
